Save the Date – Ladies at Launde Women’s Retreat – 9-11th April 2027 

Save the date! Our bi-annual Women’s retreat returns to Launde Abbey in April 2027. Organised and run by Pat Dale and Rev. Rhona Knight and open to all, we are looking forward to all that God will do in us as we take time to come away with Him and spend time together. Make a note in your diary now and look out for more information about theme and booking in November! 

Encounter Event – 13th June 

Only one week to go until the Encounter music event which aims to bring together members of the different music teams from the churches of St. George’s Stamford, Spalding, Boston, Grantham, open to other churches and ministries.   We will be joined for the event by guest worship leader Marc James. 

There will be a music and song writing workshop in the daytime at  St George’s Church Place, 1 Cheyne Lane, Stamford PE9 2AX and we will close with a worship evening concert in St George’s Church. 

You are welcome to attend all day or just the evening concert if you wish to do so.   Book via Church Suite 

School Bibles

As per previous years, we will shortly be purchasing bibles for children in reception and year 6 at St George’s School. If anyone would like to contribute towards the cost of these please donate in your normal way either through the bank or via the box in church and clearly mark your donations School Bibles. The bibles are approximately £15 each and we will purchase approx. 40 bibles across the two classes.
