...with Jesus at the centre
- Jesus is the reason behind everything we do.
- We give God the glory He deserves and proclaim Jesus as Lord
- We value a personal relationship with God our Father, through Jesus.
- We seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit in our worship, prayer, preaching and outreach to the community.
...with the Bible as our guide
- We are a people who are rooted in the truth of the Bible.
- We are an evangelical church, faithful to God’s Word and rejoicing in the Good News of Jesus.
- We remember all of God’s promises and seek to live out the obedience that comes from faith.
...where people matter
- You are welcome here! Whatever your age or stage of life, you are valued.
- Through the grace of God, we are growing together as disciples of Jesus.
- We aim to be a loving community, where we value keeping people safe and seeing lives changed through the power of Jesus!
Empowered by the Holy Spirit in the next 5 years we trust God to be changed by His Presence with a passion for discipleship by:
- This must start in prayer, so we are committed to providing a space and building a community of people who will pray 24/7, allowing the Holy Spirit to fuel everything we do.
- We will prepare for growth in the size of St. George’s, ensuring that we have the capacity and resources to welcome and nurture all who join our family.
- This must flow into whole life discipleship, we therefore need the structures in place to enable Spiritual growth across the whole church family.
- Through God’s grace and leading, we hope to continue resourcing other churches from St. George’s, to Stamford, the villages, the market towns and the ends of the earth.
- Thursdays at 10–11.30am
- St George’s Church Place
Vision & values
St George’s Church, Stamford is a thriving evangelical church nestled in the heart of the town of Stamford. We have a mission to proclaim the gospel to everyone locally, but also have a role to play in the revitalisation of the church across Lincolnshire. We are a church where Jesus is at the centre, the Bible is our guide, and people matter.
