Raising Generations is St George’s department for Children, Youth and Young Adults, covering ministry with the 0-30’s.
The Vision
“Raising Generations exists to see children, youth, and young adults encounter Jesus personally, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and grow as lifelong disciples. We long for smooth transitions through every stage of life, for families to be equipped as the primary place of discipleship, and for the next generation to be empowered to reach their world with the gospel today—not waiting until adulthood to walk in all that God has for them.”
Matt Wild
Raising Generations Pastor
The Raising Generations team is led by Matt Wild. Matt also leads our Young Adults Ministry.
Joe Randall-Carrick
Children's Worker
Joe is our Children’s Worker and leads, with a team of volunteers, our Sunday Kids Church for 0-10’s. In addition to this he leads our midweek toddlers group ‘Seedlings’, plus our engagement with local primary schools.
Mark Beckett
Youth Worker
Mark is our Youth Worker and leads our Youth Ministry including Sunday and midweek groups with a team of volunteers. He also leads our engagement with local secondary schools alongside other church youth workers.
Jacob Kutschera
Trainee Youth Worker
Jacob is our Youthwork Placement Student. He works alongside Mark to deliver our Sunday and midweek youth ministry while studying his degree in Theology, ministry, and mission at Ridley Hall.
