6.30pm – Evening Worship: When we want the wrong thing (1 Samuel 8: 1-22)

Wednesday at 12 noon – Holy Communion followed by a bring your own Fellowship Lunch.  Please note that due to a funeral beforehand, please arrive after 11.45am this week.

Encounter Event – 13^th June

Only three weeks to go until the Encounter music event which aims to bring together members of the different music teams from the churches of St. George’s Stamford, Spalding, Boston, Grantham, open to other churches and ministries.   We will be joined for the event by guest worship leader Marc James.  There will be a music and song writing workshop in the daytime at St George’s Church Place, Cheyne Lane, Stamford PE9 2AX and we will close with a worship evening concert in St George’s Church.  You are welcome to attend all day or just the evening concert if you wish to do so.   Book via Church Suite

Confirmation Service – 21^st June 6.30pm

We are delighted that Bishop Jean, the new Bishop of Grimsby will be taking a service of confirmation at St George’s on 21^st June in the evening.  Confirmation traditionally follows baptism and is an opportunity to confirm your faith.  If you have been baptised and haven’t been confirmed but would like to consider it, please speak to Martyn, Anna or Ben.
