Small Groups (Homegroups)
It's easy to get lost in the crowd within an active, growing church. We want
everyone who calls St George's their church home to feel at home. As our
church grows larger it can grow smaller at the same time through Small Groups.
Small Groups, or Homegroups as their often called, are gatherings of about
10-15 people who meet weekly for the purpose of building friendships with
other Christians that help us grow in our relationship with Jesus. We do
this through studying the Bible and applying it to everyday living, praying
for one another's needs, informal worship and just having fun together.
Most groups meet on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings in a
home. Some specialised groups (women's groups and Seniors) meet during the
day. The following people at St George's faithfully lead these groups each week:
Les and Pam Allen
Paul and Ann Darley

For people within the church family, we offer regular training for potential new Small Group leaders. If you attend St George's regularly, and are considering starting a group of your own, please contact the Church Office to discuss the possibilities.
